Had plans to box, but it just has not let up at all, so rather than get wet. I hit the office for a few hours to get caught up on much need work things.
Spent yesterday at the rock and gem show in Portalnd with the Kiddos. Still feeding Kiddo #1's fascination. So much so, we started tumbling some agates from our recent trip to the beach. Such a long process. Hope it is worth it!
After the show, we headed to Gladstone to find some boxes, but alas, one came up missing and we just couldn't figure the other ones out.
So - instead will update last weekend, which was beautiful!
Saturday - we had family visiting and we made plans to visit Avery Park in Corvallis. Just so happens that Spike was kind enough to plant a new box in the park at the same time. The Kiddos and the cousins had a blast playing on the train engine and the dinosaur bones. Finding the box was fun little bonus and we loved the first finder certificate!
Sunday - Kiddo #1 and I went to the Oregon Flock and Fiber Fesitival. We saw a camel, alpacas, cool sheep, found two of three boxes hidden there, and had a lovely time seeing and touching all of the wonderful fibers.
So - with some hope and prayers, perhaps we will get some more boxing done in the weeks to come, though it looks doubtful looking at the calendar. I knew being a girl scout leader would be busy - but who knew it would be this crazy!
