Then - not a whole lot of boxing due to the back to school crud hitting our house, crummy weather, and whatever else excuse I can't think of right now.
That brings us to yesterday and the Willamette Valley Wine Stroll.
Oh My Heck!!
Did Marmalade and Maiden ever out do themselves!! Thank you Ladies - so much! This virgin at events had a great first time :-)
The Syrah Sisters had an amazing time. It was my first event and I drug all of these amazing women who had never boxed along with me and we had a fabulous time. I was the DD for the day and I hate to drive, but it was so worth it to let these wonderful women have a great time, and to be able to spend the day with them. The bonus was finding some incredible boxes, carved by some INCREDIBLE talent!

I was too shy to do much exchanging, but I found a few willing souls to share with me, and can only say thnk you to them. THANK YOU!
I was also blessed to meet the lovely and very talented Mrs. Murray7. What a kind, kind! person she is. Tyra has been a great mentor. Now if she can pass on some of those amazing carving skills!
The sheer number of people was overwhelming, but so worth it.
And did I forget to mention the incredible wineries we got to visit. We got a little lost at first, but made it to 9 of the 13 on our list. We could have made a 2 more, but they were closed by the time we got to them.
Sister Diane (Chardonnay) and Sister Mersha (Riesling) also got to experience "real boxing" and helped me to find a wonderful Mystery box in Newberg, before heading back to the final after party location, Yamhill Grill.
I can't wait to be able to take Kiddo #1 to an event. We may need to go up to Washington for that, but she so deserves to be able to go to one.
And that brings us to Today - where kiddo #1 and #2 and I left early for the pumpkin patch and corn maze at Lone Pine Farms and then went on down to Springfield to nab four more Simpson boxes. Thanks Team Springamajack and Tyra for the lovely stamps. Not sure about the 5th box we tried, it was pretty busy to try and dig too hard. I will have to go back in the evening for that one at Page Elementary!
