Can I also add that the Elf on the Shelf (ours is named Snowflake), is adding a lot of joy to the beginning of this Holiday?
I finished November off with a great week of walking and a good weight loss as well. I pulled in just under 50 miles for the week. My feet are conditioned for Vegas and I am ready to be somewhere where it feels warmer than this freezing cold fog.
Jessica and I did the Springfield Turkey Stuffer on Thanksgiving and had a great time. She came in at around 35 minutes and I was just over 36 minutes. Slow by most standards, but still an improvement for me. We couold have gone swimming at Splash afterwards, but did not go prepapred. Next year we will definetly swim after the race, as we are committed to making this a yearly event. The tee-shirt is awesome.
Friday found us up early and shopping at Target, browsing the mall and then home before the boys were awake. Then we decided to go back to Splash and swim and play in the waves. We had a lot of Family fun, something that is new for us. I like that the kids are getting to the age where we can all go together to do things like this. Ended up at the mall again looking at Christmas persent ideas for TBH.
Saturday - Jessica woke up SICK. High fever and massive headache. We laid low at home both Saturday and Sunday. Started a little decorating and just general clean up. I walked over 16 miles just on Saturday and Sunday alone. It felt great.
I finished November off with some respectable miles and have a great start already in December. Managed to get in almost eight today.
November miles moved: 128.08
Calories burned: 13545
Total miles to date: 1260.68
Keep moving - and I'll be back after Vegas.
