Civil War - Can't Handle It- and MISC

So here I am, blogging, because I am just not good at sitting down and watching anything for very long. That is why I will rarely go to the movies and find I can barely make it through a rented one to watch at home. It is also why my TIVO is filled to the gills with all of my favorite shows, because I can only manage to watch about 30 minutes before falling asleep at night.

But I do enjoy listening to the guys watching the game and can keep up pretty well by listneing to their cheers or groans along the way. Right now - it's not going so good.

So this will be filled with a few other things.

Like our trip to Madsen Christmas Trees yesterday to find the perfect tree. It was nice to go as a whole family. I even got Jessica from school early so we could go while the sun was still shining. I will say that even though the sun was out - it was REALLY cold.
We did find a beautiful tree and it sits very nicley in our front window. Covered in 100's of white lights and colored snowflake lights. The kids are just so happy to have it up and had a great time decorating it. I just could not go on my trip and not have the tree up. Now it really feels like Christmas. If I could just find the energy to get the presents wrapped.
Speakng of which, a lot of the shopping is done. Has been for awhile. Just need to finish one more for one of our names and get some stocking stuffers for the adults.

I don't think I have mentioned that the TBH is headed back to work. And right here in Harrisburg. Things are going to change with our morning routine and we have some concerns about managing the kids, but it is such a relief and he seems very happy with this company and loves the idea of a three minute commute by FOOT!

I am packed for Vegas. I have already checked in for my flight and have all of my race material printed off and tucked away. Just need a quick trip to the bank, after taking Jessica in for annual eye exam, and then to school. After that, I am headed up to Portland to do a few things before heading to the airport. This is a girls weekend and am so glad to be spending it with my sister in law and more improtantly FRIEND.

Aww... it was a good time, for sure. Thanks for inspiring me to be there!
