I am getting a slow start on the mile accumulation for March and not due to weather or busyness (sp). Although starting tomorrow kiddo #1 and I have something girl scout related every day through Sunday.
The slow start is related to a knee issue that I don't even know how I acquired. I woke up last Friday with it hurting. Decided the best way to treat it was to work through the pain. So I ran on Friday and knew that my treatment plan was probably a bad idea when I got done and could barely fold my leg enough to get in the car. Got up early on Saturday and walked and ran again. Now I can barely walk. Though just sitting around it's not terribly painful, it just hurts like heck when I bend or flex the leg. And because I have been favoring the knee when I walk, I think i have strained other muscles all around the darn thing.
So - needless to say - this has been very frustrating for me. Just when I have begun to really like this exercise routine, I feel held back. And I know without the regular - fat buring exercise, the weight loss is going to be slowed way down.
I am forcing a walk for a couple hundred calories at a time, but the miles are down a bunch. And it hurts - BAD.
So -
March Total to date - a grand whoppin' 5.05 miles moved.
Calories Burned - 779.
Sad - I know!
