Yesterday was the regional Spelling Bee. You guessed it. Kiddo #1 earned the right to go to Washington DC to participate in the national ACSI Spelling Bee.
We'll be cashing in our pop bottles and collecting up our miscellaneaous change to pay for it, but there is no way we would miss this.
More later and pictures too. She refused to let me tell the world on facebook, until she could tell her firends at school, but I needed to share this somewhere. I am so darned proud of her.
