August was another good month for movement -
August miles moved - 162.04
Calories burned - 18342
Daily average - 5.23
Total miles moved to date - 933.5
It should be no problem reaching 1000 in September. Then the big thing is - how many will I actually get in 2009 and can I beat it in 2010.
My walking buddies and I were chatting during our hike last weekend about which half and full marathons we want to do in 2010. My goal will be to have one event every other month at the least.
Some that are being considered -
Bloomsday - Spokane
Eugene Marathon
Hippie Chick - Half
Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon
Coburg Run in the Country - Half
Portland Marathon
And one that involves travel to somewhere fun - like maybe Las Vegas again....
Last weekend was busy with a another walk in Eugene. I got kiddo #1 to go along and we managed to get in a good seven miles.
Sunday was another wonderul hike, this time into the Middle Sister. The trailhead is off the Old McKenzie Hwy. This was the most strenuous and longest hike we completed at just 12 miles. Lots and lots of uphill!
This week we are kid free as they are visiting Manny and Papa in Washington.
I have been hiking, and we have been golfing. It's nice - but I miss them lots and lots right now. It's been a nice semi-week of vacation. Lots of early morning travel and then home in the afternoon.
Tonight is J's back to school night. Looks like I will be going instead...
This weekend is another 10 mile walk, Beaver football season opener, and cleaning out kids clothes to make room for some new school stuff.
Next weekend is 20 miles and then the following is the Champoeg Half. Lots and lots going on.
Middle Sister photos next.
